Device features

Safety

Thanks to the hydrophobic membrane. It allows air but not liquid to escape in case of damage.

Automatic priming of the system

The luer lock closing cap is equipped with an hydrophobic membrane which allows automatic priming of the system.

Fully soft

The complete system is UV-Ray resistant, DEHP Free, Latex Free.

Flow precision

Due to its conformation, plastic is less affected by external agents such as temperature and internal agents such as viscosity of the drug.

FAQ

The Easyflow elastomer pump consists of two main parts. An elastomeric reservoir (elastomer) and an infusion line with flow reducer. The elastomer, once filled with the drug, exerts a constant pressure on the fluid; this pressure translates into an hourly flow calibrated by the flow reducer. The Easyflow elastomeric pump is a disposable device, sterilized with ethylene oxide, for the continuous infusion therapy of pharmaceutical products; requires no batteries or power supply.
Easyflow is available in 5 different capacities: 40, 60, 100, 300, 500 ml. Different nominal filling volumes correspond to them: 48, 56, 60, 84, 96, 100, 108, 120, 240, 250, 252, 288, 300, 360, 400 and 500 ml.
Hourly flows range from 0.5 ml/h up to 600 ml/h. The infusion time, depending on the volume, are: 30 minutes – 1, 1.5, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 15 hours – 1, 1.5, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 12, 25 days.
The device is intended for use in patients suffering from chronic or acute pathologies (oncological or non-oncological) and for post-operative pain management. It can be used for the following treatments: chemotherapy, acute and chronic pain therapy, chelation therapy, antibiotic and antiviral therapies, hydration in adults.
If the conditions stated in the IFU are respected, the accuracy of Easyflow elastomeric pumps is equal to +/- 10%.
Factors such as fill volume, temperature, pump location, viscosity of fluids and drugs, and external pressure affect the flow accuracy of elastomeric pumps. These factors may result in an increase or decrease in flow from the nominal flow and affect the timing of administration.

In a journey that has lasted more than three decades, Adriamed has become one of the leading Italian and European companies specialized in the production of devices for drug infusion. The mainly manufactured and marketed products are elastomeric pumps, extension sets, stopcocks, infusion lines with stopcocks, solution filters, IV oncology sets, transfusion sets. The flagship of the Adriamed product portfolio is the Easyflow elastomeric infusion system. Easyflow is the elastomeric infusion system that combines safety, lightness and reliability. Thanks to its design and innovative materials, Easyflow is a discreet disposable, the lightest in the world, comfortable and precise.

Adriamed has two production plants located in central Italy for a total of approx 6000 m2 of which 3000 as clean rooms. Each of them can boast of the most modern plastic processing technologies such as extrusion, injection molding, UV bonding, ultrasonic and radio frequency welding. Adriamed is also equipped with the latest latest generation packaging systems and planned ethylene oxide (ETO) sterilization systems. Adriamed also holds several patents in the field of drug infusion.
